what have You done
I met what I thought to be
a reflection of myself
and my first thought was
who is helping this Girl,
this Person
She needs help
She feels the same pain as i feel
are Her cries of pain going unheard too?
i wrapped my life around
this Person
i let Her in, i lowered my defences
i thought i was helping You
was our friendship ever real?
i gaze back at what i was then
my arms mere remnants of skin and muscle
my body defined by scratches and scars
i gaze back to You
You manipulating and cajoling
Your eyes and their menacing glisten
as i bow to You
i bow to You
and the blood
it drips from my fingertips
i bow lower still
lower still to You
my head finally rests upon the ground
You stamp it out
my flame, my thoughts,
my life as i once knew it
You killed what i once was
and now all that is left is my frag-
ments
fragments carefully placed back together
with the intention of being what would best please You
I hate you.
