What is Hope?

Hope is a wanting, A Longing, A Waiting, And a Haunting. Things so close So tangible But never to be reached. Hope is false Untruthful And cruel. Tormenting her believers With her deadly grasp. Keeping them to believe All her lies of promised success And fortune. Hope is a haunting.
