What I Cannot Live Without
Several years ago I was laying on the ground of amazment.
I was looking up into the universe.
Nothing was distracting me in that moment.
I had not a worry of what can hurt me or what will.
My only fasination was what is found beyond the blue during the day.
If I could fly past the clouds one day and find something so much more worthy for my attention.
How tantalizing the stars are, the silence and solitude of space, and the playfulness of gravity.
I cannot fatham the idea of living without dreaming of a better world.
Better circumstances where no one has to write about depression, but only of happiness.
I cannot live without comfort of cosmos and how majestic it is.
Suprisingly my safe place is not on earth.
It is found in a place humanity labels has dangerous.
What they forget to take into consideration like everything else is the beauty.
Therefore, my love is found wihtin the openness of something greater.
I will not. I cannot. I will forever.
Take with me the stars and all its power.
For in the silence of an island of the only inhabitance me I will find it equivalnet to space.
So at night
While I lay in the soagy sand and breath in crisp air my eyes will scour the night sky.
I am in metaphorical space and no one can take that away from me.
