What I can't live without!

I can still hear your voice

I can always hear your voice

Telling me I can do it

Telling me I’m smart

Telling me I’m worthy.

Sometimes I curse it

Sometimes I argue

I’m not as good as you say

I’m not as smart as you think

I’m not the girl you think I am.

You don’t relent

You don’t change your stand

You don’t see failure as an option for me.

You hold my hand

You make me keep my head up

You make me believe I can be  …….

                                Anything!

I am applying for this scholarship because I need funding for my education. My mother will contribute as much as she can, my grandparents have all set aside money for my education, I have been working the last two summers and saving what I make and my brother has even offered me whatever remains of his college trust money because he started out with more. But, college is expensive and I plan on earning both an undergraduate and a graduate degree so I can accomplish everything I’ve dreamed about. I have taken many college classes at our local junior college in order to make this less expensive but I only have five classes completed with a lot ahead of me. I will make it happen!
