What I Can't Live Without

A bright rectangle of light,

Illuminates my face as I read,

In the darkness of the bedchamber,

This substance in life I need

Fast access to favorite pastimes,

Angry Birds, YouTube and Fanfiction,

Memories of frustration and fun,

Depending upon the connection

On a deserted island,

How else would I be able,

To contact my loved ones,

Or call for help if any is available
