what i deserve

my hands start to shake

the breath i take dissapears

i open my mouth to retort a spewing array of ruthless words

words that cut deep into me

i open my mouth to tell them to stop

but no words come out

my voice has fallen silent once again

say something, say anything

my legs start to shake

i just need to leave, maybe i'm the issue

but they always follow, or maybe i'm following them

i must be seeking for this

this must be what i deserve
