What I did for the

What I did for the love that you give... What you went through because of my foolishness What we accomplished because of hope My heart of black that you made white Left me with nothing but the memories I do not want to keep Keep the hope, the love, and the memories Waste your time not on me Leave my shadowed heart alone Don’t mock me with your tears The gaze you give me makes my heart shudder Though we’ve cried at the end Our savior didn’t come The pain that clenches the spirit Our bodies parted But our souls are one Even in time I will not forget The love you gave me in that short while The light that shines on me Reminders of you I see them as I walk Lonely is the sand I walk on through time Life goes on without the part of me I keep turning around thinking you are there Shadows on my wall are hypnotizing me Making me think that I can still hope Even the flowers outside are becoming grey My eyes in the mirror are black As being alone in rooms where nobody can hear me yell I walk to the place where you left me Tears fall to the ground A light touch lifts my face And I see you there in front of me comforting me Once again you save me…when I wasn’t able to save you Keep the hope, the love, and the memories Waste your time not on me Don’t leave me a corpse with no color I want to restore the times when we had smiles Can I follow you into the world you live in now…? --Viin
