This is What I Did

I am scared they will find out soon in due time

‘twill be the end of promises I’ve made

Something important in exchange of mine

Fair but funny from a creature of hate

None shall find out, it will mean death if so

I will do anything to keep it safe

Will it ever be better I don’t know

Tis is not at all freewill but of fate

As you are reading this I am long gone

There’s nothing you could’ve done to help me

If you tried to help me you would be wrong

For I am fine with this, as you can see

I have now what I wanted all along

Soul of thy mother, in trade for my own

This poem is about:
Me
My family
