What I did not say
It told me to write about the thing I almost said, my mind lingered over my past, over what I had said, what I tried to say, and what I hadn't said- nothing much came... but that would've been a lie, for I had this one thought which bugged me, no it was not a thought, one experience that I've endure, or a feeling, but it was all three of them--what was the word for it... I stared, but then closed my eyes trying to remember the thought, it came faintly but it was here.
I sink in remembering what I've had experience, at first oh how great it was, but then I truly remembered the feeling, I hate it, but how glad was I that I did not tell him.
Oh yes, his beauty was as pretty as his tan skin, and his soft dark hair, which were not as dark and deep as his eyes, which would embrace me everytime I would stare into them, and Oh how he would look back at me, like he truly did like me. But I was foolish, but not foolish enough to tell him that I liked him, not foolish enough to realize that his deep eyes had enough space to embrace other girls.
Alas! I remembered, as my eyes opened, it wasn't love, for I yet was too young, but still not knowing what it was I remembered that I did not say, what I almost said " I like you" or " I Love you".
Even in my slight distress I did not cry, for it was not God's will.
