What I Don't Want
I don't want your money,
I don't want your dope,
I don't want to be left here hanging on hope.
I don't want to be lied to,
I don't want to be cheated,
I don't want to be the one you just thought you needed.
I don't want your pity,
I don't want your pain,
I don't want to be the one left out in the rain.
I don't want this bullshit,
I don't want this sugarcoat,
I don't want to be left bound by this rope.
I don't want to know how it got this far,
I don't want to hear how sorry you are,
I don't want to hear that you want me to stay,
I don't want to play these fucked-up head games.
I don't want to hear all your excuses,
I don't want to know why you've used and abused me,
I don't want to hear you say that you love me,
I don't want your hands on me,
Don't fucking touch me.
I don't want to love you,
I don't want to leave you,
I don't want you to know how much I need you.
So, I think it's time to be on my way,
And if you wanted to know what I wanted from you,
All I can say is,
I wanted you to be true....
