But What I Hate

I love that way you look at me
Those blue eyes smiling back
With that gentle look on your face
Love the way you make me feel
Like there's no one else in sight
When you hold me close
And kiss me flawlessly
I feel like I can fly above the clouds
But what I hate
Is you not holding my hand in the middle of the day
There's no shoulder to cry on with the tears to be wiped away
You won't talk to me around your friends
Or anytime when the day ends
I don't know what to do
And I don't know what to say
But that's what I hate
