What I learned

Love is to many what pain is to change.

A necessity by flaw, for pain is just that

So I watched and saw and with cupids rage, I roared.

I cursed my blasted fate once more and cried

My story is too common and so is my pain

A drilling sensation a mind-numbing feel

For even hatred, the destroyer of minds

Couldn’t even beat back this pain of mine

I long for those days, those nights I could sleep

A night I could dream, a day I needn’t beg

Pain can break, just as pain can teach.

I’ve been broken, and remain so

But I’m still accepted
