What I Need

I've sat and I've pondered, about what I would need

If all that I've ever known was taken from me

Is it the air that I breathe, or the songs that I sing?

Ah no, it is much more than these.

Well what about food? Youve got to stay strong

Alas, this is not wrong at all.

"Water is crucial!" Ive heard many say

But food and water are not on my mind at the end of the day

What I need, what I require, what could it be?

The freedom to grow, the choice to be Me.
