What I perceive

I understand myself  well

I understand how the world works

But yet I know nothing

I don’t know what the rest of my life holds 

I don’t want to know

Because knowing would mean that I no longer have a say

I no longer have my freedom to be me

I want to accomplish something in life

But not just your “American dream”

I want to achieve the American dream, along with every other dream

I want to accomplish everything...

I am yet still growing and will continue to grow for as long as am blessed with the opportunity to do so
