What I really want

What I really want is something to have

Someone to claim to make me laugh

 Could this someone be you?

Maybe, but doesn't a comedian do that too?

So what makes you so different? Hmmmm, I'll never tell.

If I did, you'd know how hard I fell

For the last nut-case who obviously was oblivious to what he had

He could never be a real man like my dad

Well who can I run to is the question I often ask

When I am left alone with no task

Then I realize that this break must be something

God must be bracing me for a blessing he has coming

Then I wonder should I ask for a want or pray for a need

I bow my head and get on my knees

Just as I begin to speak, I hear a voice

Saying "Child, is there reallly any other choice

Other than waiting on the Lord, who's been here with you?"

I begin to think of maybe a new boo........

Naw, God is with me, so there is no space for greed

He's all that I want, and the thing I need
