what i want

When I was 8

i wanted to be 18

i wanted more freedom

i wanted to grow up quickly

get a job, make a lot of money

i never thought to think for a second

about responsibility, life would be easy

i thought to myself, but little did i know that

it was all a trap to escape my reality and problems

i was too small to realize that i am more free than i will

ever be. Now am 17 and all i wanna be is 8 again, but not really.
