What I Want You to Know
You know I say I'm okay,
And that I will push you away.
But I want you to know what I want.
I want you to hug me,
And tell me that you know I'm not.
And hold me though I'm distraught.
I don't want you to ask questions,
Nor tell me I'll be okay,
Just be there for me.
Just don't leave me alone,
Don't alienate me,
I just want you to hold me.
I'll be okay.
I'll try to keep that promise,
But I need you.
That is honest
