What I Would Change
Cancer.
This disease that takes away the lives of so many we love.
It comes in the form of a tumor or could even be a mole on your back.
It resembles death, something that you would not expect or even contemplate when going into the annual doctor checkup.
And so many things supposedly cause it, how are we ever supposed to know what is actually killing our loved ones?
Don't go tanning; you'll get cancer. Don't sleep next to your phone; it could cause cancer. Don't eat that food; cancer cells are found in it.
It controls our lives, and there is nothing that we can do about it.
So, if I could change one thing about this world.. it would be that I could get my uncle back, my grandma and my grandpa. My mom's best friend, my sister's childhood.
Oh, the things we would have.. if cancer didn't exist.
