What I Would Change- Submittion
I would change the way the world treats girls.
I would change the fact that Malala got shot in the head for wanting education.
I would change the fact that a man who sexualizes his own daughter is pegged to be in charge of an entire nation.
I would change the fact that when I was six years old, a man whistled at me while I was in my school uniform.
I would change the fact that I begin to get fearful when men begin to swarm.
I would change the fact that women sometimes have no voice when a man enters.
But there are things I wouldn't change.
I wouldn't change the reassuring smile of a fellow woman who helps another apply make-up.
I wouldn't change the women who are raising money and awareness to those in the Middle East.
I wouldn't change the women who are noteable in media speaking out about feminism.
I wouldn't change the fact that feminism is becoming more inclusive to our transitioning sisters.
I wouldn't change the fact that although sometimes it's difficult,
being a women means being a fighter, and that's all I know how to do.
