What I'd give the world
If I could give the world one thing
It would be the strength I bring
It would be the understanding of the way I see life
It would be all the nights I spent cutting the bad strings with a knife
It would be the heartbreaks
All the breaths I made my self take
Everything I lost in so little time
How every step I tokk foward it was like 2 steps back on rewind
I'd show the the world all my mistakes
How many times I'd try so hard not to break
I'd give them all the nights I cried myself to sleep
How every day I woke up and put makeup on so I whoudn't weep
How much I hated myself for the things I coudn't control
How much kindness and love is really in my soul
How much I wanted to make the world a better place
A place were no one felt like a discrace to the human race
I'd give the world my hopes and dreams
How I wish the world wasn't a place were you felt the need to scream
A calm and peaceful place to sleep
A world were it was okay to be the black sheep
I wan't the world to know that not everything has to be broken
And that everything good that you did was a token
A token to the next day
Where you realized that the world wasn't so gray
