What If

These what ifs are on my mind

for what seems to be like all the time

My brain is my mind

I'm gonna need it back

before it all goes pitch black.

What if the sky falls to hell

just below a wishing well?

What if the stars suddenly go dim?

What if Saturn loses it's rings?

What if people see me as strange?

Even though I'm deranged.

Alien minds differ from yours

going beyond closed doors.

What if they figure it out?

Of course they have their doubts.

What if they decide to probe me?

Not if I do it first you see.
