What If

'What if' was her best friend,

and wherever she went it followed.

'What if' began to control her life,

and it wasn't long before her heart began to hollow.

Until she lets 'why not' into her life and kisses 'what if' goodbye,

she'll forever carry pain and sorrow and never learn how to fly.
