What If?
And what if,
For a moment,
I slipped back into
The way things used to be?
Would everyone be disappointed?
Would they be upset
If I couldn’t always be
As strong as I
Am right now?
And what if
I’m on the verge
Of completely breaking down
And shattering every piece
Of my soul that there ever was?
Would you put me back together?
Would you hug me tight
And hold my hand
And say you love me
And tell me always
So I do not forget
But always know
That I am
Important
To you?
