What If..

She was curled up on my bed crying.

Of a broken heart.

I felt this.

Like I understood.

Because it's happened to me, she is me.

The pain of getting your heartbroken.

It's unbearable.

It's why I've chosen to try not to love.

He hurt me.

Did I stop liking him?

Of course not.

I knew he didn’t like me

I’d never stop liking him

Until one day

I found someone who cared

I started liking this new someone

I stopped myself

What if they hurt me too?

What if this is a mask to bring me in

What if..
