What if...?

What if life was backwards?

What if death came first?

What if good was bad?

What if the best was the worst?

What if murder was right?

What if charity was wrong?

What if a lightyear was called short,

and an inch was called long?

What if the sky was green?

What if the grass was blue?

What if cows said "woof,"

and puppies said "moo?"

What if summer was cold?

What if winter was hot?

What if what isn't is,

and what is is not?

What if I were you?

What if you were I?

What if high was low,

and low was high?

What if everything changed

to the opposite of what it is now?

Living life would be different,

and I honestly wouldn't know how.

I got into poetry my freshman year of high school. I absolutely fell in love with it. It is my drug, my addiction that I cannot shake. I love visiting Renaissance Faires, theme parks, swimming, hiking, singing, writing, and reading. I love the movie "PS, I Love You." I am a hopeless romantic, but I have not always had the best luck in relationships. A lot of my poetry comes from my heart and mind, and holds special meaning, maybe even a few tears. But some other poetry of mine is simply random and weird and goofy. Just me being me. My nose gets cold easily, and my room is always a mess. I collect stuffed animals (don't laugh) and rocks (that I named for a time when I was younger). I also know how to play Snaps. Yeah. I also have a pet fish (Danny), two turtles (Todd and Talulah), two cats (Timon and Angel), two goats (Hearts and S.J.), and five dogs (Sheila, Shakespeare, Rusty, Duke, and Rebel). Yup. We're a farm. Not literally, but a lot of pets. I have a guitar, but I can't play yet. I need lessons. I shall learn though. Oh, and I have written way more poems than I have actually published on here. I have over a hundred. So what you see is only a peek. Hope you like my poetry.
