What If God Went on Strike

We have all types of strikings

Bus strikings

Teachers strikings

Because of likings and dislikings

But what if God said I'm going to rest my worried head and go on strike

Now this the people on earth may not like

But I'm going to go strike

Now there will be no rest for the weary

No way for the hungry children to eat

they'll no clothes on their backs and no shoes on their feets

And that Devil, that sneaky learch

He'll go right into the church

Not into the bars I do suppose

because he already have all of those

And the Devil he has no end

He'll say it's my turn to see how many souls I can win

But I got a message for the Devil in hell

My God is just too good to fail

And here's something else the Devil may not like

But my God is just too good to go on strike
