What If Prince Charming Never Came?

Once upon a time there were three girls...

two were very cruel

and the other played by their rules.

When young, little girls see their was only one way

that she was set free.

Now some may say

well how could that be.

Simply put her whole life,

was magically changed by becoming a man's wife.

But what if Prince Charming never came?

In the midst of his fame

what if his need for a wife simply wasn't there.

I think that's fair,

to wonder in this day and age

how one girl's story in particular would be changed.

I for one would like to believe in her.

Her ability to help herself.

Her strength, perserverance, and thoughts to show kindess first.

The girl's name is Cinderella

and while being swept away as someone's wife is stellar

to be her life story no she deserved so much better.

To the little girls who listened to her story

you don't have to wait around for a man to come in all his glory

to sweep you away from all your worries,

You have the power to change what you don't like

all you have to do is stand up and fight.

Fight for what you believe in.

Fight what isn't right.

If Prince Charming never stepped in

little girls would've learned these things from their favorite princess.

Instead of how to bite their tongue and live on wishes.
