What if you die today my dear friend?, I guess I would ponder on what marks the end, Not just the beautiful messages and pieces you sent, But the smiles and time we spent, In every message, in every line, would remain a testament. Yes! I would think and yes! I would recall, The moments shared, either big or small, From hearty laughs to the quiet calls, How in your words I found a wall, A steadfast strength against my fall. Announced your death today and I would be there, Not just to mourn or stand and blankly stare, But to celebrate the moments so rare, That in your presence we did share, And find comfort in your memory fair.
