What I'm Thankful For

Most can't boast for the things I'm thankful for

See I was born unlike the rest unable to explore the world as it is.

I was caught between two worlds grasping for normalcy

Unable to see the Divine work being made manifest in me.

They couldn't understand, I'd come so far without their nectar

How despite what they were suggesting I was only getting better.

I was seeking and reaching for answers outside our understanding

They tenaciously pushed their agenda making the pressures so demanding.

All the while you waited, in your silence you spoke volumes to my soul,

Your agape took such a broken mess and made it whole.

So I thank you for never ceasing to believe in all of me,

As I lay it all down at your feet Yahshua, let it be a sweet potpourri.
