What Inspires Me is Here

What inspires me lies within the trees

In a land of books, in the land of seas

In the wonderful world of music up loud

And the birds and the planes that dwell in the clouds

In the places I've fallen in love

In places where I pray to the Heavens above

When faith is lost and doubt is high

I find my strength from the ones outside

The ones who love me to the ones who hate

They keep me going before it's too late

The world may seem bad, but there's much to love

From the cry of a baby to the flight of a dove

From the trees high above to the birds in the sky

To the music that transports me to a safe place, although I can't place why

I cannot pick just one that inspires me most

From the bump of the speakers to the Heavenly Host

They all help me fight my battles until the battle is won

And when the day is over I remember they are combined into one

For what inspires me cannot be put to rest

My home, my earth, my universe inspires me the best
