What is it?

It’s what keeps us alive, it gives us the will to be alive and the strength to do it

Blood pumping, lungs expanding, voice singing words of praise

These tasks so effortless

But so difficult without it

Being warm on a frigid day

Glowing when the clouds are continuous

Smiling when the world desolates

How does one do this?

How is it hope is so high while our world is scorched by terrorists, hate, pain, death, fear

Hot tears stain her face, crimson paints her skin, screams pierce the silence

Yet, what wakes her up with a smile?

Before she lay in ashes, but now

She is clothed in grace

This THING it’s so bright, warm, an overwhelming energy that fills the emptiest of rooms

What IS it

 Is IT love?

Who is LOVE?

Who is so BEAUTIFUL to cover the marks of horrid things

So awesome that evil is NOTHING

Death has no bite

Because love is so abundant

an energy so immense no human could fully grasp

but

WHO is love?

GOD

Along with his SON so perfect, giving and LOVING

HE who lay down his life to give US a life of everlasting love

HE who forgives the unyielding horror of our world

It’s never giving up on the broken who curse thy name

That no matter how low we fall HE brings us from the rubble, pain and misfortune

THAT is why HE is LOVE
