What is it about the rain?
What is it about the rain?
That brings me back to happy old days,
A time when all could get along,
Disputes would be considered wrong,
And when the day was said and done,
We all would laugh and have some fun,
Was it the rain that made me think?
That fights and war were extinct things,
Or could it be that rain made a sound,
that filled my heart with content all round,
Each single drop that hit the ground,
Had turned my frown upside down,
What is it about the rain?
What is it about the drops?
What did they represent?
Will these questions ever stop?
Maybe the rain will cease its fall
And one day my questions will be answered, ALL!
OH! What is it about the rain?
That always brings me back to happy old days.
