What it means to love

To say , because I love you ,shouldn't mean to keep the person you care about all to yourself, away from those who want to love them as much as you do. To say, because I love you, shouldn't be used as an excuse to hurt the person you love physically, nor mentally. Just so, they end up fearing you enough to stay and not put up a fight... because they are too damn afraid of what you might do to them. To say I love you, is at times a crime. Because it not only causes harm to the person whose receiving the love, but also those who surround them. But that shouldn't be the case, to say because I love you , to someone. Should be meant with the right intentions. For someone to say, because I love you, "I'll stay by your side even in the hardest times",takes courage, and devotion towards your partner. To say because I love you, "I'll be the one to wipe your tears away,even if I may be the one to cause them," can mean the world to not only the person hearing it, but saying it as well. Lastly, to say I love you, should be said only and only if, this person is the someone you can trust with anything, enjoy talking to and never getting bored, and most of all, accepts you with all your flaws.
