What is Leadership?

What is leadership?

Some may say power,

others may say confidence,

and a few may even say bravery.

But leadership is more than just a word or two, 

more than a definition on a page.

Leadership can define a person or part of a person.

Some may even be told that they were born with this unique trait.

Leadership in the form of a leader can be 

a person who is relied upon as a shoulder to cry on

or a strong hold in the middle of a storm. 

The rock. 

The decision maker.

The wise one.

Even the one who is not afraid to show how they are really feeling.

Leadership is not just a word, 

but much, much more.

But really, 

if you think about it, 

is there even a true definition of leadership?

Honestly,

I don't think there is. 

In my opinion,

leadership is all based on point of view.

To one you may be a follower,

and to another,

you may be the only leader they know.

 So think about it,

are you a leader?

do others see you as a leader?
