What is left to say?

Proverbs 13:12

12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
but a longing fulfilled is like a tree of life.

What is left to live for if one can’t trust self?

What is there left to do if one’s actions replenish doubt?

What is left to give if you are empty and dry?

If your actions are deceitful always crying out

Where do you think you’re standing on sinking sand?

Are you hanging on to your lost integrity?

With both hand hanging on to your fallen nature

blaming God and man for your chosen reality

Being dark has no way out of misery

Like being sucked up in a constant fall

No light at all to show the state of depravity

No soft voice to lead you only anguish after all

When hope is gone and helplessness strangles

And fear of the uncertain takes your breath away

Completely broken down as despair is reigning

As you know there is little now left to say
