What lies ahead

Do you know what lies ahead?

Through the countless lectures you have tread,

You still lack the drive or direction to head,

Really, do you know what lies ahead?

Was a scientist a dream or a reality a first?

To be a professional at something requires thirst,

To push on and obtain that goal will always be diverse,

But to fall short is what you always do to traverse.

Really, do you know what lies ahead?

You seem to love the language of the shows you consume.

Maybe there is where your true passion looms.

You also have a drive for a sport with many grounds and lies,

Maybe there is where your true passion hides.

You also love to talk about the world around you,

Maybe your passion lies there too.

You also love to inspire others when the time arises,

Maybe there is where the passion you seek lies on the horizon.

So really, with all of that talk that has been said,

Do you truly know what lies ahead?

Go think about your journey before you traverse into a dead end.
