What Lies Ahead

In an instant our emotions change

What we used to love might not be the same

We're caught, we feel stagnant like our potential lost to our current action

However, when we fall, it's easy to forget that every tear can turn into song

Even in our darkest days, with thoughts that plauge our brains

When gloomy clouds never seem to fade,

And though we're on the brink

We begin to think of what lies ahead

It comes in visions, in and out

It's blury and vauge, but it feels like a place where we'll be okay

We sense the warthm, in it's beauty and grace

For a future me with a future smile on my face

This motivates us to turn the page,

Waiting for the chapter where we've found what we're after

In the midst, we open some doors, with a glowing brightness with

new avenues for us to explore

And we become estatic to to think this is what lies ahead

All the grief, all the work

Amounts to progress, a foundation that leads us the future we've built

And once you've realized that the rain that hits you means that you're alive

You're going to be grateful when tommorow arrives, for new opportunities to arise
