Sadness affects all

Brought by evil in the world

Stopped by not a soul

A feeling dreaded by most

Yet happens way too often

 

A boy goes missing 

The mother weeps for her son

Searching all around

Not even a clue to help

Her heart will never be healed

 

A woman comes home

To an unfaithful husband

With nowhere to go

So she cries herself to sleep

All alone in her dark world

 

She always will smile

As she's taunted by bullies

Still not knowing why

She will go home every night

Just to contemplate her life

 

A mother gives birth 

To a beautiful baby

Not even close to aware

Of the sickness inside him

Death will rip him from her arms

 

A clueless puppy

Prances right into the street

To be run over

Soon the young child finds her

And cries time and time again

 

Life will throw curve balls

No matter who you may be

All that you can do

Is push through and persevere

Even though it's very tough

 

We all emotions

Some are good and some are bad

Life is just too short

Don't get caught up in the past

And only let life free you
