What Life Has To Say

Our mind works in the strangest ways when it comes to life As what defines our darkest hour and our gloomiest day And the deepest cut of wound it does create That God sent our way You try to make your peace You try to move on But something from the past Continues to haunt Will not let you go on Or easily let you forget Like an unfinished business That will not be left unsaid It will not just let you move on Like it has something important to say Without me it says I will not let you have a life It's something that needs to be said And no matter how hard you try Or try otherwise You cannot just walk away This life that is sometimes a story of pain and sorrow This life that is sometimes a story of love and sweetness and tomorrow One thing though will always stay You neither can quit nor run away
