What a Long Year It Was

What a long year it was

full of love, hardship and chaos

In no way am I the same person I used to be

everything that happened has changed me.

I used to get stressed over everything in school

but this year, it's all "pretty cool"

My best friends have moved away,

and left me feeling lonely every school day.

My soul mate passed away,

and after her, I shall be happy in no way.

What a long year it was.

What a different person I became.
