Long nights on the phone,

So I won't feel so much alone.

Our conversation was about every and anything,

Oh, I wish it wouldn't end.

This thing called love had us together,

Until I did something he didn't like.

The screams came like wind in a storm,

Swishing in my ear.

They say words don't hurt,

But those words did break my bones.

I still have the love to show,

Since with bruises was how he showed his love.

What is love?
