What is Love?

What is love?

A question I have asked

Those around me

Sometimes answered by

Society's psyche

A Televised version of

A question with different answers

And sometimes answered with questions

What is hate?

All leaving some of us baffled

What is love?

Some of us whispering in muffles

As their lips touch

What is something as beautiful as love?

Death.

Leaving us teary

a rebirth in another universe

My theory is that it is and always will be

A mystery

Yet the answer is there clearly

A slow painfully, beautifully, tragically, wonderfully filled death.

Peace in its corrupted beauty.

So...What is love, because mine is just a theory.
