What is Love?

Three simple words

"I love you"

So many meanings, so many feelings

But

It's also tragic

A bittersweet truth

Love can only last for so long

Before

Before I hurt you, I didn't mean to

Trust me

Tears will come

As you yell your pain

Your heart will ever shatter just a bit

But if you still love me with the pain that I caused you

Thank you

Slowly I will repair your heart

Just give me chance

I will do my best

I may not be there for you

I may not read your mind

I will fail you time and time again

But

Just give me a chance

I want to make you smile

I want to make you laugh

I want to make you feel loved

I don't know what love means to you

But love for me means caring one another

Someone who you can be yourself

Someone who you tell you the truth

Someone who puts you before me

I don't mean to hurt you

But believe I really do care about you

Because I love you
