What Is Love?

Is it someone hugging you tight?

Or is it someone hurting you out of spite?

Is love something invisible,

Or is is always suppose to be physical?

What is love?

Some say its all emotion,

That causes a whole lot of commotion.

Love isn't suppose to hurt, right?

If so, then why am I always seeing couples fight?

What is love?

Are there different types?

Because the love I grew up knowing isn't what I see.

I see blackened eyes and broken ribs,

I see heart aches and busted lips.

I see fear, hurt, and pain,

Not love, 

So what is it?
