What is love?

Don't go through that door

Or don't come back anymore.

The scars you have marked

Left an imprint of a lifetime.

The promises you have broken

Will no longer define the person

I am today.

The little girl you so called your daughter

Isn't the same .

All those tears you caused

might have been wiped away

But there is still a massive broken piece

inside all of us.

You may have walked in again

Just don't expect to be received with

Open arms.

Coming back in just makes  you look like a fool.

Why would you leave us anyway?

Things you may not have answers to

Are simply answered by your facial expressions.

….Years later….

After a while I realized I should thank you for what you did.

It has opened my mindset of what I want in a person.

I don't want anyone who took advantage of their family.

I want to be able to trust the person I chose to have in my life.

I WANT to feel LOVED BY SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT

WHAT I NEED.

I WANT the love that you couldn't give my mom.

Love is something you never bothered giving my mom and my siblings.

Being there for someone is practically showing acts of love to someone.

An ounce of your love is all i wanted, but it was proven I couldn't get that

For my X-chromosome donor.

My so called father vanished just so he can prove to others

He didn't love his so called family.
