what is love?

I felt a flame,

I let it grow

You burned it out.

We fell down in smoke.

You said you loved me.

We cried. We laughed.

We felt love... we thought,

But no it didnt last.

You ran out of time,

and pushed me aside.

You lost respect,

our love felt wrecked

Don't twist my words

Don't make yours mine

I said "I love you"

but your love is a crime.

Love should not be empty.

Love should not be forced.

Never fake. Never lying.

Love should be real.

Where is respect?

Where is trust?

Who are we?

And what is love?
