What is Love?

What is this Love that I feel?

Do I love the way he touches me?

do I love the things he does to me?

yes and no.

i love the way he places gentle kisses upon my lips

i love the way he protects me, quick it catch me when I fall

im in love with his character, how he is a protector of the hurt

how he is so emotional but is too scared to show that

im in love with the way I am able to be free around him

my spirit lifted high into the clouds on a whimsical dream

oh my love the way he says my name it makes my heart beat out of my chest into the next world

He, as strong as Hercules but oh so careful and gentle with me

he is the man all women should seek.

Never would he purposely hurt or betray

never would he beat down into the ground 6 feet under the broken world

No, he knows what Love looks like

he knows to treat a woman right in every way

he knows to never hit a woman, not even with the softest most delicate flower

Love is not shown through anger, never forced upon

love is shown through actions, through the lengthens he would go through for you, through the thing he says to you
