What Is Love?

There are some people
Who do not believe in love
Because the ones they loved
Have made them hate it.
Because "I love you"
Means something
Very, very different to them.

I did not believe in love.
And then,
I found him.
He showed me that
"I love you"
means he really does love me.
He showed me that
"I love you"
means he will comfort me
and trust me
and hold me.

And I showed him
That "I love you"
Means I will always love him
No matter what.
I will trust him.
I will support him.

That is what "I love you" should mean.
You should not be afraid of love.
You should feel it.
And embrace it.
And enjoy it.
