What Is Love?

What is love

Sometimes

It's real

But other times

It seems unreal

Complexity

All around it

I can't really

Describe it

It is easier

To show love

Then tell it

In some cases

People today

They don't know

What love is

They seem to think so

But don't

I can't speak for myself

I've never been in a relationship

To me

Love is showing someone

How much you love them

Showing humility

Patience

Happiness and companionship

You'll never know

The one who loves you

Unless they show it

Love is like an ocean

It is grand, wide

And sometimes

It flows

It is like a waterfall

It doesn't stop

It flows

And flows

Like a river

It lets them know

You'll never let them go

It's not all about sex

Sex isn't love

Love is real

An expression of life

That'll never fade
