What is love
What is love?
How do I know one's true intentions?
Is it the words that get tossed around so often
"I love you"
No, love is "text me when you get home safe"
Love is looking at your significant other and not imagining anything better
Commucation and trust not silence and deceit
Love is two people becoming one
Knowing someone's favorite color to their darkest secrets
Love is a bond that shouldn't be broken through hurtful words and dishonesty
Love is not lust and should not be mistaken for such
It is not wanting to "get" with the person but wanting to spend time with the person
The words may not always be spoken but they feelings are there
Love is something I hope I find on this journey of my life
Through my family I have already seen love radiate off of my parents and my granparents
I aspire to have the relationships they have
They may not say I love you everyday but they say it in their actions
It could be a kiss on the cheek or a dozen roses
The little gestures that mean so much
I love you all for teaching me what a healthy relationship should be
